CONSENT, REPOSTING AND
COLLABORATIONS

Consent is sexy, and so is having the right documentation to keep your account active. Proper consent is not only important—it's a legal requirement for any content you post on any platform. So, here are the many ways you can document consent on Fansly.

THE HOW AND WHY OF REPOSTING

On Fansly, reposting lets you share another creator's content while giving them full credit, helping their work get the recognition it deserves without needing a consent form. Just hit the repost icon on the original post, and it'll appear on your timeline and be linked back to the creator. But if you want to re-upload content, you'll need a signed consent form from all parties involved. This ensures everyone's on the same page and their rights are protected.

COLLABORATING WITH INTEGRITY

When creating content with others, both the vibe and the legalities need to sync. If you're teaming up, either tag your collaborator's verified creator Fansly username or submit their signed consent documents if you're re-uploading shared content.

The fastest way to verify a collaborator is by having them create their own Fansly creator account. Here's how it works:

1️⃣ Ask your collaborator to sign up and apply for a Fansly creator account.
2️⃣ Once approved, send an email to compliance@fansly.com with a link to their profile.
3️⃣ Tag their verified username in your post (or messages if you're sending via DMs) to show they're a collaborator.

This method makes future collabs easier and gives you the option to earn through the referral program if they sign up using your link.

If your collaborator doesn't have a verified account, tagging them isn't enough. You must submit documentation before posting the content. Here's what to gather:

A signed Fansly consent form.
✅ A clear photo of their government-issued ID.
✅ A clear photo of their signed and legible consent form.
✅ A photo of them holding their ID next to the signed consent form.

📌 Alabama creators: State law requires all consent forms to be notarized. Use the Alabama Consent Form with a notary section to stay compliant.

Send all of the above to compliance@fansly.com. If your content involves more than one person, submit these items individually for each individual. Please wait for approval before posting.

NOTE

EVEN IF YOU'RE TAGGING A VERIFIED FANSLY CREATOR, YOU'RE STILL LEGALLY REQUIRED TO KEEP THOSE DOCUMENTS ON FILE. IF WE EVER NEED TO VERIFY CONSENT AND YOU CAN'T PROVIDE IT, THAT'S ON YOU—NOT YOUR COLLABORATOR.

TAGGING ≠ CONSENT. IT JUST MEANSWE DON'T NEED THE PAPERWORK. YOU STILL DO. FOR ANYONE WHO'S NOT A VERIFIED CREATOR, SIGNED CONSENT DOCUMENTS ARE MANDATORY. NO EXCEPTIONS. DON'T SKIP THIS STEP!

PROTECTING YOUR CREATIONS

Your content is your currency, so let's protect it. Watermarking is your first defense against unauthorized sharing, acting as a deterrent and helping you track down leaks if they happen. If your content gets stolen, contact us immediately. Send us a detailed report, and our in-house DMCA team will handle the rest, taking down leaks and safeguarding your work. At Fansly, we're more than just support, we're your advocate.

REDACTING CONSENT

Change of heart? No problem. Redacting consent on Fansly is straightforward. Whether you're withdrawing consent yourself or need to remove someone else's content, contact the involved parties, fill out the Fansly Revocation of Consent Form, and submit it to compliance@fansly.com. Transparency with your fans about any content changes keeps your relationship with them honest and respectful.
