TAX FORMS AND RECORD KEEPING

Tax time doesn't have to be a headache, and while we at Fansly can guide you on how to access your documents, remember that we are not tax advisors. For detailed tax advice and to make sure you're filing correctly, please consult a professional accountant.

ACCESSING YOUR TAX DOCUMENTS

Getting your tax forms is straightforward on Fansly. Simply log into your creator account, navigate to your Creator Dashboard, and click 'Tax Documentation'

Here, you can download your Form 1099-NEC. If you manage multiple accounts under one Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN), you'll find a single consolidated 1099-NEC for all your accounts.

SUBMITTING YOUR TAX FORMS

Creators in the U.S. must fill out and submit a W-9 form, which can be easily accessed and submitted through your Creator Dashboard under 'Tax Documentation.'

For creators outside the U.S., the W-8BEN form for individuals or W-8BEN-E for business entities must confirm non-U.S. status. Due to new EU regulations, European Union creators must also complete the DAC7 form, which is accessible through the same dashboard path.

ABOUT THE 1099-NEC FORM

If you earn over $600 in a year through Fansly, you'll receive Form 1099-NEC, which details your payments. It's crucial to report all your earnings accurately to the IRS, regardless of whether they reach the threshold for Form 1099-NEC. This form helps you and the IRS keep track of your independent earnings.
